NLK STUDIO
RULES & SAFETY GUIDELINES

 

NLK Studio is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all.  Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Use of NLK Studio is subject to the following rules. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund.

 

General Conduct

  • Treat the space, equipment, and others with respect

  • No illegal activity of any kind

  • No smoking or vaping inside the studio

  • No excessive noise beyond agreed booking terms

 

Responsibility for Guests

  • The renter is responsible for all guests, collaborators, and attendees

  • Do not exceed agreed occupancy limits

 

Equipment & Studio Use

  • Studio equipment is not included in standard rentals and may not be used without prior authorization and booking

  • Use all equipment and furniture safely and as intended

  • Report any damage or malfunction immediately

 

Safety Practices

  • Keep all walkways, exits, and doorways clear at all times

  • Do not block fire exits or tamper with safety equipment

  • Do not hang or attach any items from ceiling pipes, fixtures, or structures. Hanging is only permitted from the designated lighting grid.

  • Use caution with cables, stands, and power sources (avoid trip hazards)

  • No open flames, hazardous materials, or unsafe props without prior approval

 

Cleanliness

  • Leave the studio in the condition it was found

  • Remove all trash and personal items at the end of your booking and place in the outside dumpster.

  • Return furniture and equipment to original positions

 

Damage & Time Overages

  • You are responsible for any damage caused during your rental

  • Any time beyond your booked rental period is considered overtime and will incur additional charges. Overtime must be approved by the host before the end of the booked period

 

Prohibited Activities

  • Fog and haze machines MUST BE water-based.  Any others are prohibited.

  • No activities that pose a clear safety risk to people or the space

  • The use of glitter, confetti, and any other difficult-to-clean or residue-producing materials is strictly prohibited unless fully cleaned and removed by the renter.  Failure to clean it  up may result in additional cleaning fees

  • No smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances is permitted anywhere in the building

  • No unauthorized modifications to the space

  • No photography, video or audio  recording is permitted outside the walls of NLK Studio without prior written authorization. This includes hallways, entrances, shared spaces, or any areas outside the studio.  Respect the privacy of other tenants, guests, and individuals in the building at all times.

  • No filming or participation in any illegal,  illicit, or discriminatory  activities is permitted in or around the premises

 

Emergency Procedures

In any life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

  • If necessary, evacuate calmly using the stairwell.

  • Do not use elevators or re-enter the building until it is safe.

  • For fire, electrical issues, or unsafe conditions, evacuate and contact emergency services if needed.

  • Notify NLK Studio of any incident as soon as possible after ensuring safety.
